I did not watch the VMA's, mainly because I can't stand MTV anymore. After viewing numerous YouTube videos on the subject, and reading a variety of People.com stories, I can't say that I'm surprised by Kanye's outburst...

The man makes great music, but he is bat-shit crazy... While I don't particularly like Taylor Swift's music, I feel awful for her... I can't even imagine what she felt like... Possibly a blood-soaked Carrie? I'm sure she'll be able to channel some of that embarrassment into an angsty teenybopper anthem, though.

On a side note, I love Mike Meyers' reactions in that video...
